North Smithfield — Manuel “Manny” Cabral 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Providence VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Karlene (Saucier) Cabral.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Manuel and Mary (Rowy) Cabral.
He was a member of Laborers Union 271.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.
Manny was a self employed Mason for M. Cabral Construction until he became disabled.
Manny enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed listening to Blues Music, lifting weights, going to the beach and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Cabral of N. Smithfield. One brother, James Cabral of Cumberland. And one sister, Mary Wojick of N. Smithfield. Sister-in-law and godchild Tracy Marcoux of Woonsocket. Two grandchildren, Elijah Cabral and his wife Natalie of TX and Isabella Cabral of N. Smithfield. Two great grandchildren, twins Tenneh an Elijah Jr. Nephews, Tony, Gregory, Kyle, Dylan, and Matthew. Nieces, Sharon, Leeanne and several other nieces and nephews he loved dearly.
He was also the brother of the late Christine Piotroski.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial with Military Honors will be on Friday, October 1, 2021 in the RI Veterans Cemetery South County Trail Exeter RI at 12 noon leaving the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home at 11AM.
