Maria Vazquez Obituary

Woonsocket — Maria S. Vazquez-Lara 71, passed away peacefully in Landmark Medical Center on Monday, March 9, 2021. She was the husband of the late Jose Vazquez.

Born in Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan and Anna (Lara) Vazquez.

Maria was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, especially baking, and also enjoyed sewing. She was very devoted to her faith and attended church regularly.

She is survived by her four children, Wanda Vazquez of Woonsocket, José Vazquez of Providence, and Hector Vazquez and José Juan Vazquez both of Woonsocket. Two brothers, Juan Vazquez of Florida and Hector Vazquez of Puerto Rico.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 6PM in the S. DIPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 5-7 PM. Burial will be at a later date. Social distancing and face mask required.
