Woonsocket — Marie R. (Handfield) Biron 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023 in Bayberry Commons Nursing Home. She was the wife of Michael Biron of Woonsocket.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Dollard and Aurore (Remillard) Handfield. 

Marie worked as a CNA for Zambarono Hospital and Bayberry Commons for several years prior to retiring. 

She enjoyed occasional trips to the Casino to play BINGO, spending time with family and friend,s and being with her dog Princess.

Besides her husband Michael she is survived by her Three sons, Jason Doiron of Texas, Jeremy Doiron of CT., and Joel Doiron of North Carolina. One sister, Simone Rawlinson of Blackstone, MA. One brother, David Handfield of Woonsocket. And four grandchildren, Owen, Lillian, Luke, and Levi. 

She also was the mother of the late Jarrod Doiron.

Her Funeral Services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
