Maxie S. Spearman Sr.

Woonsocket - Maxie S. Spearman Sr., 77, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the Woonsocket Health Centre with his loving family by his side.

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Willie D. and Lula Mae Spearman. 

He worked as a Laborer for Consolidated Print and Miller Electric. He was a former member of the VFW. He enjoyed listening to music, going to carnivals, watching classic tv and game shows, and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. 

He is survived by his children, Maxie Spearman Jr. of Woonsocket and Sarsha Gibbons and her husband Bob, Missy, and Heidi. Three sisters, Ida Spearman of Woonsocket, Joany Spearman of Woonsocket, and Nancy Johnson of California. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchild. 

He was predeceased by his siblings, Loretta Hobbs, Harry, Frankie, David, George, and Junior Spearman. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 3PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02859. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 1-3PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
