Michael DiRosario Obituary

Cumberland -Michael J. DiRosario, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Flo (Hetu) DiRosario of Cumberland.

Born in Franklin, MA, Michael was the son of the late Albert and Sarah (Phillips) DiRosario. He spent 68 years working for Star Market before retiring, where his strong, particular work ethic and friendly nature left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.

A man of many talents and passions, Michael co-founded and was a proud life member of the Red Devils Car Club in Franklin, MA. In his youth, he was not only an avid softball player but also served as his team's captain, leading with both skill and camaraderie. He also enjoyed deer hunting, embracing the quiet and patience it required. His love for sports extended into his later years with a passion for golf, where he enjoyed the challenge of the game and the company of friends he played with regularly for many years.

Michael had a profound love for music, filling his home with melodies that wove the fabric of family gatherings. With a camera always in hand, he captured countless moments, turning ordinary events into treasured memories. These photos and videos are now an enduring legacy, allowing future generations to glimpse the stories of his lifetime.

In addition to his wife Flo, Michael is survived by his four children, Lisa Pavelka-Jallette and her husband Roger of Cumberland, Jeffrey Pavelka of FL, Eric DiRosario and his wife Kim of Cumberland, and Sherri Brown and her husband Joseph of Woonsocket. He also leaves behind one sister, Barbara DiRosario of Franklin, MA, and three brothers, Albert DiRosario and his wife Karen of Wrentham, Donald DiRosario of Franklin, MA, and John DiRosario and his wife Elizabeth of Nevada. His legacy continues through his five cherished grandchildren: Dylan, Keegan, Ian, Kinsley, and Kayla.

Michael was also the father of the late Lisa DiRosario, whose memory he held dear.
