Michael P. Erickson

Woonsocket - Michael P. Erickson, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026 in Rhode Island Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Paulison) Erickson of Woonsocket. Mike and Barbara celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on February 24, 2026. 

Born in Lebanon, PA., son of the late Peter and Jeanine (Sholley) Erickson. 

Mike worked for many years as a Manager at Howard H. Sweet in Attleboro, MA. He was also a Machinist for Micro Group in Medway, MA prior to retiring. He was a NE Patriots and Red Sox fan, an avid photographer, and enjoyed woodworking. 

Besides his wife Barbara, he is survived by his three children, Julie Robbins and her husband David of Baltimore, MD., Karen Erickson of Raleigh, NC., and Lee Erickson of Woonsocket, RI. 

He was also the brother of the late Keith Erickson. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11 AM in St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church 74 Harris Avenue Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Stephens Orthodox Cemetery Old River Rd. Lincoln, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation is one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM in St. Michaels church. 

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church or the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary Mendon Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 in Michaels name would be appreciated.
