Michael Notarangelo

Woonsocket — Michael Notarangelo, 99, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in the Friendly Nursing Home with his son by his side. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Tellier) Notarangelo.

Born in Hustown, Pennsylvania, son of the late Matteo and Philomena (Barbaria) Notarangelo. 

Michael was a United States Marine Veteran serving in WWII.

He worked for Tony Gemma Construction in Framingham for 22 years and Rochambeau Worsted in Manville retiring in 1992. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, playing golf, and was an avid lifelong Yankees fan. 

He is survived by his son Wayne Notarangelo and his wife Jeanne of Arizona.

Michael was also the brother to the late Nicholas, Joseph, John, and Matteo Notarangelo, Catherine Suffoletto, Viola Plouffe, and Clara Bordeau. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4-6 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in St Jean the Baptist Cemetery and will be private. sdipardomcfh.com
