Michael J. Yarush

Pascoag — Michael J.Yarush, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2025 in Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Suzanne (Brissette) Yarush of Pascoag, RI. 

Born in Natick, MA son of the late John Yarush and Jeanne (McPherson) Menard. He was also the stepson of Edmond Menard of Woonsocket.

Michael worked as a roofer for Wiesman Roofing and Greenwood Industries for several years prior to retiring. Mike was also a Handyman and he also worked at Bowdish Lake Campground.

He enjoyed bird watching, fishing, shooting, and especially spending time with family and friends. Mike also enjoyed having an occasional beer and cigarette. 

Besides his wife Suzanne, he is survived by his five children, Kyle Yarush and his wife Michelle Chavez of Virginia, Nathan Taft and his wife Amy of Woonsocket, Ryan Taft of Woonsocket, Amanda Taft and Nathaniel Wheeler of CT and Walker Yarush and his wife Holly of Rehobeth, MA. One sister, Kathy Plasse of FL. Nine grandchildren, Aaliyah, Maya, Adrian, Michael, Arianna, Sean, Maverick, Mason and Charlotte.

Mike was the brother to the late Diana and Marysue.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 4-6 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be at a later date.
