Orlando "Marvin" Robinson

Woonsocket - Orlando “Marvin”Robinson, 61, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 in RI Hospital with hisfamily by his side.

Born in Providence, son of the late Edward and Mamie (Chaplin) Robinson. 

Marvin enjoyed going to the beach, camping, getting pedicures, riding his Harley, going out for breakfast at “Missy’s,” and especially spending time with his granchildren. 

He leaves behind his two children, Robert Robinson of Woonsocket and Timothy Gorman of MA. One step-son, Zachary Archambault of Woonsocket and two step-daughters, Kelsey and Kayla Brien both of Woonsocket. His siblings, Nadine Cudio of Woonsocket, Reginald Robinson of CA, Edward Thomas of CA, Dwayne Robinson of Woonsockeet, Adrian Robinson of Woonsocket, Kimmie Robinson of Woonsocket, Freddie Robinson of Woonsocket, Celestine Robinson of Maine, Tahsanta Robinson of Woonsocket, and Chrissy Robinson of West Warwick. 15 grandchildren, Justice, Alize, Jadakis, Darius, Cherrish, Promise, Orlando, Reminisce, Robert Jr., Paris, Alanis, Jazlyn, Tamara, Jalynn and Demetrius. And 7 great-grandchildren, Amariana, Greyson, Alizeya, Emir, Edriel, Jionni, and Azalea. And a host of nieces and nephews. 

He was also survived by his loving companion of 9 years, Becky Brien of Woonsocket. His best friends, Edwin Rodriguez, David Brien and Scott Fernandes. 

Marvin was also the father of the late Tyler Soucy and brother to the late Mandisa Robinson. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 Relatives and friends are invited.
