Paula J. Patterson

Blackstone — Paula J. (Wolschon) Patterson 65, passed away on Friday,

January 22, 2021 in the Providence VA Medical Center. She was the wife of Paul J. Lafond.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Paul and Winniefred (Thibault) Wolschon.

Paula served proudly for the United States Army as a Sergeant prior to separation.

Paula worked as an Administrative Assistant for Terminix International for several years. She also worked for the Northern Rhode Community Mental Health Center in Woonsocket for many years. She enjoyed playing Seduko, gardening, painting, arts and crafts, and spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren who she adored.

Besides her husband Paul, she is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Bernier her husband Brian and Stacy Patterson. Two stepchildren, Kimberly Chakkarava and Paul Lafond. One brother, John Wolschon and one sister, Mary Beth Nolan and her husband James. Four grandchildren, Natalie, Bridgett, Dylan, and Pyper.
