North Smithfield - Paulette E. (Peloquin) Wethey, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025 in the Holiday Retirement Home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Edward E. Wethey.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Robert R. and Marguerite (DeRoy) Peloquin.
Paulette worked as a Cashier for Landmark Medical Center for 30 years and then in the Mortgage Department for Milford Federal Bank prior to retiring. She enjoyed watching TV, especially her favorites soap operas, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. She was an avid reader and liked to do word searches. She also enjoyed going out for Chinese food.
She is survived by her two children, Stephanie Hanger and her husband Billy of MO and Christopher Wethey and his wife Elaine of Blackstone, MA. Two sisters, Francine Gaulin of Woonsocket and Jacqueline Cardinal of North Smithfield, RI. Three brothers, Roger Peloquin and his wife Barbara of Woonsocket, Paul Peloquin and his wife Sue of Woonsocket, and Donald Peloquin and his wife Michelle of Lincoln. Five grandchildren, Tyler and wife Kelsey, Katarina and Finance Patrick, Cory and wife Emma, Ryan, and Caitlin. And seven great-grandchildren, Avery, Aiden, Aaron, Gage, Bailee and Alexa and Dominic.
She was also the sister of the late Suzanne Gagnon.
