Pauline J. Hemond

Attleboro — Pauline J. (Lehoux) Hemond, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Benchmark’s Branches of N. Attleboro with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Lucien Hemond. 

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Gerard and Loretta (Peloquin) Lehoux.

She worked as a Greeting Card Merchandiser for American Greetings and CVS.

Pauline enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching figure skating, reading, and knitting. In her younger years she loved being a Den mother for East Woonsocket Boy Scouts Pack 6.

She is survived by her two children Guy Hemond and his wife Gina of Milford, MA. and Paula DePiero of Woonsocket. One long awaited and very loved grandson, Drew DePiero. 

She was also the mother of the late Denyse Hemond and sister to the late Murielle Marceau. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023  at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI. 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 9-11 AM. Burial will be private.

The children of Pauline would like to express sincere thanks to Beacon Hospice for the excellent care given to their mother, especially to Molly who also took care of their dad prior to his passing. Also a heartfelt thanks goes out to the staff at the Branches for taking excellent care of their mom and caring for her like she was part of their family.
