Pascoag — Phyllis M. (Saporito) Khawani 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Pietro and Phillippa (Ministera) Saporito.
Phyllis was a Homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, watching Elvis movies and listening to his music. One of her pastimes was playing BINGO and occasional trips to the casino. But most of all her favorite thing to do was spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra Tariela and her husband Peter of Pascoag. Four grandchildren, Stephanie, Peter, Jessie, and Matthew. Six great-grandchildren, Austin, Keira, Adalyn, Alexis, Chase, and Gabrielle.
She was also the sister of the late Peter, Charles, Thomas, Anibal, Libo, Salvator, Josephine, Constance, Mary, and Francis.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is from 10:30-11AM. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery Farm St. Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society; nationalmssociety.org in her memory would be appreciated.
