Raymond "RayRay" Fontaine

Raymond “RayRay” Fontaine, 39 passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Raymond was born November 1983 the youngest of two children to Raymond Fontaine, and Gisele Young.  He worked in the construction business for many years.  He was passionate about music, sports, and spending time with his friends, and loved ones… More than anything he cherished his three amazing children.

As a young child Raymond loved playing football, and soccer.  As he grew older, he began to find a profound love of music which allowed him to express himself, and just enjoy life.  Though he had many friends his sister Tricia maintained the position of his best friend, and confidante which only grew stronger as he became an adult.  

For those that had the privilege of knowing Raymond in any forum knew just how much he enjoyed laughing, “cracking jokes”, and making the best of any situation by finding the “light in the dark”.  His infectious smile had the ability to light up every room he walked in.  

One of Raymond’s greatest achievements in his life that he honored every moment was having the blessing of becoming a father.  In 2000 he welcomed his first son Xavier, then 3 years later his daughter Monique, and his third child a son Raymond Patrick in 2018.

Raymond is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Monique Young, and Raymond and Pauline Fontaine, and his brother Patrick Paine.

He is survived by his three children Xavier Archambault of Woonsocket, RI., Monique Archambault of Woonsocket, RI., and Raymond Fontaine of Savannah GA; Parents, Raymond Fontaine of Savanah GA, and Gisele Young of Tennessee, and his sister Tricia Fontaine of Woonsocket, RI.

A Funeral Home Service will be held at 5:30 PM on Friday, May 5th, 2023 in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation will be from 4-6 PM.
