Woonsocket - Rene D. Boucher 70, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at home. He was the husband of the late Rose Marie (DeRosa) Boucher.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Aldor and Bertha (Bastein) Boucher.
Rene worked for Josh’s Construction for several years. He loved to play video games and hangout with his nephew Josh. He was a fan of the Ninja Turtles and enjoyed carnival rides.
He is survived by his two children, Joey Tingley of Woonsocket and Rene D. Boucher Jr. Two sisters, Diane Borges of Fall River, MA and Elaine Paquette of Woonsocket. And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was also the brother of the late Carol Joyal.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville, RI. Relatives and friends are invited.
