Richard C. Barnett

Stoughton, MA - Richard C. Barnett, 60, passed away peacefully at South Shore Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Malinosky) Barnett. They were best friends and married 23 years prior to her passing. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of Mary Jennifer (Jillson) Barnett of Pascoag and the late Robert C. Barnett Jr. 

Rich worked as a Salesman for the former Garber Brothers for several years prior to retiring. 

He was a member of the Providence Model Railroad Club. He was an avid aviation and railroad photographer and he enjoyed music, especially Jethro Tull. Rich was always there for his parents.    

Besides his mother Mary, he is survived by one aunt, Margaret Boisclair of Woonsocket.

He was also the brother of the late David Eric Barnett. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 10-12 AM. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
