Robert E. Desautell

Blackstone - Robert E. Desautell, 78, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 in Milford Regional Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Jeanne A. (Berard) Desautell of Blackstone, MA. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Raymond E. and Aurore F. (Gaudet) Desautell. 

He was a United States Army Veteran. 

Robert worked as a Safety Manager for Avery Dennison for several years prior to retiring. He was a member of Club Lafayette and played in the MPL Pool League. He was an avid golfer, pool player, loved a nice cold beer, and loved to spend time with his family and friends. 

Besides his wife Jeanne, he is survived by his 2 children, David Desautell of Blackstone, his companion Anna, Dennis Desautell of Blackstone, his sister Suzanne Dumas and brother-in-law Donald Dumas. 7 grandchildren, Taylor, Sherice Riel and her husband Derek Riel, Deja, David, Cheyanne, Aura, and Adam. And 3 great-grandchildren, Marlee, Mya, and Ava. 

He was predeceased by his son Dean Desautell. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 11,2025 at 6 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation is from 4-6PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital stjude.org in Robert’s memory would be appreciated.
