Robert D Shea

Blackstone — Robert D. Shea 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Blaire House in Milford, MA. with his family by his side. 

Born in Blackstone, MA. Son of the late Francis and Mary Agnes (McCool) Shea. 

Robert worked in Sales for several  companies, including Merillat Cabinet Co. prior to retiring.

He was an avid New England Sports fan, he especially loved the Patriot’s Football team. Tom Brady and Bill Belichik were the greatest in his mind. He also enjoyed playing pool, golf, table tennis and bocce. He loved telling stories and jokes.  He was always front and center at family gatherings, that’s what his family will miss the most.

He is survived by Two daughters, Barbara Chartier and her husband Michael of Blackstone, MA., and Christine Hurley and her husband John of Cumberland. One son Timothy Shea and his wife Donna of Pawtucket.

One brother, Charles Shea of Blackstone. Seven grandchildren, Eric, Christopher, James, Erin, Steven, Kimberly, and Lauren. Fifteen great grandchildren, Alyssa, Sean, Britney, Kylie, Noah, Desmond, Jocelynn, Emery, Kaiya, Kylee, Halle, Lillian, Ethan, Hope and Hannon. Three great great grandchildren Trinity, Franklin, and Rory.

He was also the brother of the late Francis Shea Jr. and Joseph R. Shea. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation is one hour prior to the Service from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery Bellingham, MA. 

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Disease Research in Robert’s Memory would be appreciated.
