Rodney K. Champagne

Woonsocket - Rodney K. Champagne, 61, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side. He was the loving partner of Paula Carbone of Woonsocket. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Roger C. and Lucille E. (Richard) Champagne. 

Rodney worked as a Foreman for Ted’s Construction for 22 years prior to retiring. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He loved classic cars, and he especially loved his 1968 Camaro, which he rebuilt with his son.  He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his cat Felix, and dogs Zeus and Bear.

Besides his loving partner Paula, he is survived by his son, Joshua A. Champagne of Woonsocket. Two brothers, Robert Champagne and his wife Cheryl of Pascoag and Richard Champagne and his partner Mark Kaloudis of Providence. 

He was also the brother of the late Roger Champagne. 

A funeral home service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial to follow in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
