Cumberland — Roger L. Morin, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lorraine (Raiche) Morin of Cumberland.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Armand and Jeannette (Bachand) Morin.
Roger worked in maintenance for Glass Craft Corporation for 32 years and also for Benny’s until retiring.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Free Hill Council in North Smithfield, RI. He was a former Grand Knight. He was also an avid New England Sports Fan and also a fan of the Rams football team. Roger also enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and camping, especially on father’s day with his sons.
Besides his wife Lorraine, he is survived by his two sons, David Morin and his wife Cheryl of Woonsocket and Michael Morin and his wife Judy of Cumberland. One step-sister, Diane Lawless of MA. Five grandchildren, Stephanie, Evan, Andrew, Nicole, and Angela. Three great-grandchildren, Isla, Logan, and Kaylee.
He was the father of the late Roger Morin Jr. and Janet Boutiette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11AM in St. Johns Church 63 Church St. Slatersville, RI 02876. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
