Woonsocket - Roland E. Ayotte Sr. 76, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Hope Hospice in Providence. He is survived by his companion of thirty years, Barbara Parenteau of Woonsocket.

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Edgar and Elsie (Egan) Ayotte.

Roland enjoyed watching old time movies, listening to Elvis Presley, Little Richard, and James Brown, and spending time with his son.

Besides Barbara, he is survived by children, Roland E. Ayotte Jr. and Tina Robinson both of Woonsocket. His step children, Valerie Egan of Burrillville and Susan Desjardin of Woonsocket. Five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

His funeral and burial were private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
