Obituary

North Smithfield - Roland Guerette 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Hope Hospice in Providence with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Jeannine (Trudel) Guerette.

Born in Fall River, MA., son of the late Denis and Delima (Sawyer) Guerette.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

Roland worked as a line feeder for General Motors in Framingham for 29 years and for Triggs Memorial Golf Course for 10 years prior to retiring. 

He was a loving husband, stepfather, and grandfather. Roland was a very talented man. He played many instruments in his life and loved the guitar. He also liked to sing and go country and line dancing with his late wife Jeannine. He liked to make people laugh and enjoy the simple things in life. 

He is survived by his two step daughters, Dawn Gambardella of Blackstone and Cindy Carlson of North Smithfield. Four grandchildren, Jacob, Mitchel, Madison, and Gavin. 

He was also the brother of the late Raymond and George Ethier.

His Funeral Services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
