Ronald D. Lamothe

Woonsocket - Ronald D. Lamothe, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Diana (Courtemanche) Lamothe of Woonsocket. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Phillip L. And Irene (Poirier) Lamothe. 

He was a United States Army National Guard Veteran. 

Ronald worked in Retail for Stop & Shop for several years prior to retiring. He was a former member of the St. Joseph Veterans Association and the Lafayette Club. He was a Scout Master for six years of Troop 6. He was very active in sports in his youth, was an active bowler in his younger days and enjoyed golfing and fishing. Ron also enjoyed family vacations and golf trips to Myrtle Beach with the guys. 

Besides his wife Diana, he is survived by his two children, Brian Lamothe and his wife Patty of North Smithfield and Elise Sousa of North Attleboro, MA. One Brother, Norman Lamothe and his wife Roberta of Florida. And four grandchildren, Zachary Sousa, Christian Sousa, Isabella Sousa, and Cora Lamothe. 

He was also the brother of the late Gerry Lamothe and Lucille Brennan. And grandfather to the late Abigail Lamothe. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket RI  02895 is managing the arrangements.
