Rosemarie Harris Obituary

Woonsocket — Rosemarie Harris 72, passed away peacefully Tuesday December 1, 2020 in Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side.  She was the wife of Freddie L. Harris.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Bennie Costa and Laura (Pina) Croutear of North Smithfield.

Rosemarie was a Homemaker, she enjoyed family and friends, she was well known for her love of cooking. She touched everyone that she met, she was the kindest most soft-spoken person, when asked if you knew Rosemarie the answer was always “that very sweet kind lady”.  As a Pioneer Minister one Jehovah Witnesses Rosemarie dedicated her life to teaching others about the Hope that the Bible Promises.

Besides her husband Freddie she is survived by her two daughters, Roberta Gonsalves and her husband Franky of Cumberland, RI., Laura Barton and her husband French of Woonsocket, RI. Five sisters, Gloria Wilson of Woonsocket, Susie Costa of Woonsocket, Deborah Costa of Providence, Patricia Huegganin of Woonsocket, and Brenda Costa of Woonsocket. Four grandchildren, Ashley Vien, Gabriella, Frank Jr., and Marshall, three great-grandchildren, Samari, Brielle, Steven.

She was also the mother of the late Alyssa Marie Medeiros.

A Memorial Zoom Service for Rosemarie will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 3 PM. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
