Woonsocket - Saul River, 75, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 in Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Francisco and Juana Francisca (Sanchez) Rivera.
Saul worked as a Mechanic for most of his life prior to retiring.
He enjoyed fixing cars, cooking, drinking root beer soda, and was an amateur boxer for several years.
He is survived by his nine children, Ana Rivera of PA., Margarita Rivera of Maryland, Jackeline Rivera of PA., Mitchael Rivera of PA., Maritza Rivera of PA., Migdalia Rivera of PA., Limarist E. Rivera of Maryland, Francisca Rivera of Calif., Phillip of Fl., Carlos Malave, Fl., and Josue Malave of Fl. Four brothers, Francisco Rivera, and Juan Rivera both of PA., Rolando Rivera of Tx. and Ivan Rivera, of PA. Four sisters, Maria Rivera of PA., Lolin Rivera, Marisol Rivera and Zaida Rivera all of Puerto Rico. And several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was also the brother of the late Raynaldo and Adalberto.
His Funeral Services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
