Steven Barr Obituary

Woonsocket — Steven D. “Supertoe” Barr 57, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Mariam Hospital. Born in Woonsocket, son of Emma F. Wilkerson of Woonsocket and the late Ezarick Key.

Steven worked as a CNA for Bannister House and as a cook for Elmwood Nursing Home in Providence for several years. Steven had a passion for his family, loved music, dancing, and playing football for WHS and the Intruders. He also enjoyed soccer and the Boston Bruins.

Besides his mother Emma, he is survived by three brothers, Michael Wilkerson of Woonsocket, Ezarick Keys Jr., and Carlos Keys. One sister, Erica Key. His aunts and uncles, Gerlean  Vanover, Edna J. Jackson, Cheryl Barr-Beale, Jacqueline Barr, Roxanne Daramola, Tracey Barr, Willie Barr, Danny Barr, Craig Barr, Carla  Key, Kathy Key,TT and Johnny Key. His cousin Vondell  who was very special to him and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Steven’s god-children are Abisola Daramola and John Hernandez Jr.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Wilkerson, grandparents George and Mary Barr, and Joseph and Gladys Key, his uncle George Barr, and his aunt Janet and Jennirie Barr.

A Service will be held on Sunday, June 27,2021 at St. James Baptist Church, 340 South Main St.,Woonsocket, RI 02895 from 3 pm.- 6 pm. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 3-5PM and a Service from 5-6 pm. Burial will be private.
