Tanya Phipps

Bellingham, MA — Tanya R. Phipps, 52, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Van Buren, MI., daughter of Helen Phipps of Cleveland, MS and the late Jessie Perry.

Tanya worked as an Administrator for Blue Linx for twenty years and as security for Gillette Stadium for 10 years. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, watching movies, traveling and coming up with ideas for a business plan.

She is survived by her two children, Damian Whitfield and Darian Phipps both of Massachusetts. Her siblings, Allen Phipps of Massachusetts, Jesse Phipps of Michigan, sister in law Michelle Phipps of Michigan, Dennis Perry of Massachusetts, Rachel Phipps of Mississippi, Dushawn Rogers of Michigan, James Perry of Tennessee, Janita Scurry ( Mopsi ) of Rhode Island and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A Celebration of Tanya's Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 1-3 PM in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial is private.
