Teri Anne Knickerbocker

Woonsocket -  Teri A. (Dakin) Knickerbocker 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in Overlook Health Facility with her loving family by her side.

Born in Worcester, MA., daughter of the late Eugene O. and Virginia (Mack) Dakin.

She was a Cashier for Mountain Valley Variety for several years. Teri was a very kind, caring, and loving person. She was a foster to mom to several children and enjoyed community service. She really loved helping others and her door was always open and coffee was always on for anyone who needed. When she was not serving her community she would love to crochet. She loved to sing and was part of various church choirs and even started and ran a children’s choir group that practiced in her living room before their performances in church. She was a beloved, mother, auntie, Nana/Noni, and friend.

She is survived by her five children, Lisa Locke and her husband Charles of Woonsocket, Kristy Solecki and her husband Justin of Woonsocket, April Wilson and her husband Steve of Mexico, ME., Patrick Elkins and his wife Carmen of FL, and Faith Peterson of Warwick, RI. One brother, Eugene Dakin and his wife Shirley of NH. Eleven grandchildren, Joshua, Joseph, Tatiana, Hayley, Isaiah, Isabelle, Aiden, Jacob, Olivia, Adleigh, and Cooper.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 3:30PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is from 1-3:30PM prior to the service. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Team Hailey Hugs in Teri’s name would be appreciated.
