Therese M. Bileau

Woonsocket - Therese M. (Handfield) Bileau, 87, of Woonsocket, RI, and a former longtime resident of Bellingham, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2022 at The Friendly Home with her loving family beside her. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. (Bob) Bileau, of Woonsocket, RI. They were married for 69 years.

Terry is survived by her 6 children, Sandra A. Maclennan and Michael R. Bileau of Bellingham, MA, Cindy L. Perreault of Woonsocket, RI, Norman D. Bileau and partner Leeann Brooks of Woonsocket, RI, Hope T. Kent of Lincoln, NH, and Brian J. Bileau and daughter-in-law, Joyce L. Bileau, of Brooklyn, CT, and the late Mitchell R. Bileau who passed away in October 2019.

Terry (mémère) will continue to be loved by her 15 grandchildren, Daniel Watson and wife Jennifer of Warwick, RI, Ian Maclennan of Uxbridge, MA, Alexander P. H. Maclennan, MD of Brooklyn, NY, Marla McCarthy and husband Chris of Attleboro, MA, Michaela Bileau, Mallary White and husband Ben of Raynham, MA, Heather Perreault of Greenville, RI, Amber Lizotte and husband Andy of Woonsocket RI, David Bileau, Nicole Hanson and husband Jon, Julia Bileau and partner Chris, of Woonsocket, RI, Kyle Goff and wife Julie of Lincoln, NH, Erin Kent of Worcester, MA, Ashley Hooser and husband John of MO, and Christina Bileau and partner Cameron of Milton, NH.  Terry has eleven great-grandchildren, Kayden, Liam, Melissa, William, Samuel, Alaina, Addilyn, Aylee, Athos, Mannix and Owen.

Terry loved her family and always managed to keep a beautiful home for all who visited. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, cake decorating, quilting and reading. She enjoyed many memorable cruises with her husband. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 2-4 PM. Burial will be private.
