Tony "Nick" "Boy" Nicolas

Woonsocket — Tony Deregla-Nicolas Sr., 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2023 in Landmark Medical Center with his daughter by his side. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Masse) Nicolas and fiancé of the late Lois Cappuccio.

Born in Caridad Cavite City Philippines. Son of the late Celestino Nicolas Sr. and Pacita (DeRegla) Nicolas.

Tony was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

He worked as an Assembler for General Motors in Framingham for 25 years. Tony was a member of the YMCA, enjoyed Martial Arts, obtained his Black Belt in Karate, fishing, cooking, and all sports.

He is survived by his two children, Loriann Dufresne and Tony Nicolas Jr. both of Woonsocket. Two sisters, Rica Pereyra and her husband Victor and Bella Margate and her husband Gill all of CA. Two brothers, Celestino Nicolas Jr. and his wife Merra of WA and Ricky Nicolas and his wife Evelyn of CA. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

He was also the brother of the late Carlos and Theodore Nicolas. 

His funeral services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
