Virginia Notarangelo Obituary

Pascoag —Virginia M. (Proietti) Notarangelo, 90 formerly of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the Overlook Nursing Home. She was the wife of Joseph Notarangelo.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Andrew and Michelina (Iannoli) Proietti.

She worked as an Assistant Manager for Industrial Tool Machine Co. for 15 years and as an Accounts Receivable Manager for United Restaurant Equipment Co. for 25 years prior to retiring.

She was a graduate of WHS class of 1949 and graduated from Johnson and Wales College. She was a communicant of St. Anthony”s Church and former President and Vice President of the Ladies Guild. She was a volunteer at St. Antoine Residence and also for Insight for the blind.

Virginia loved to reconstruct statues, paint, play the organ and play BINGO.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Maney and her husband Kevin of Narragansett and one son, JosephF. Notarangelo Jr. ands wife Donna of Sebastian, FL. And several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Christina Rondeau of Rondeau’s Kickboxing, Melissa and Marc Rondeau, and Eric and Brent Notarangelo. Also 4 great grandchildren, Kia, Cotey, Nina, and Tanzi Rondeau. She was also the sister of the late Vincent and Matthew Proietti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m., in St. Anthony’s Church, Greene St., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Anthony’s Church 128 Greene St. Woonsocket, RI 02895 in Virginias name would be appreciated. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 025895 is in charge of the arrangements.
