North Smithfield - Vivian A. (Robidoux) Archambault, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late George P. Archambault.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Exdras and Armande (Leguilloux) Robidoux.
She was a Homemaker for several years and also worked for the former French Worsted and Murrey Mills.
She was a graduate of RI School for the Deaf and was proficient in sign language and reading lips. Vivian was also an active parishioner of the former St. Ann Church for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, and especially Yahtzee.
She is survived by her eight children, Georgette Key of Baltimore, MD. Diane Hunt and her husband Dennis of Woonsocket, Aline Renaud and her husband Jake of Woonsocket, Norman V. Archambault of Woonsocket, Mike L. Archambault and his wife Lauri of Chepachet, Sandra R. Fisher and her husband Rob of North Smithfield, George A. Archambault and his wife Cynthia of Woonsocket, and Thomas Archambault and his wife Christine of Woonsocket. One sister, Estelle Legare of North Smithfield. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Vivian was also the mother of the late Dennis L. Archambault and sister to the late Louella Horent and Leon Robidoux.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 3:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket RI 02895. Visitation is from 2-3:30 PM prior to the Service. Burial will be private.
