Woonsocket — Wayne A. Albano 69, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side. He was the former husband of Deborah (Spellers) Albano of Woonsocket.
Born in Arlington MA., son of the late Joseph and Winifred (Blaney) Albano.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Wayne enjoyed fishing, working on antique cars, going to car shows, sixty’s music, baseball, and hockey. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by one daughter, Teara Albano of Woonsocket. One brother, Mark Albano and his wife Sue of PA. One sister Cheryl Simoneau of Northborough, MA. One nephew, Ian Albano of NY.
He was also the father to the late Dante Albano.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 6:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-6:30PM. Burial with Military Honors will be in then National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers donations to the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Waynes memory would be appreciated.
