Wilfred "Willie" R. Bacon Jr.

Blackstone - Wilfred R. “Willie” Bacon Jr., 62, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in Landmark Medical Center. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of Wilfred R. Bacon Sr. of Blackstone and the late Therese J. (LaPorte) Bacon. 

Willie was a cook at Eldorado restaurant and Bellingham Palace Pizza. 
He was also the Head Custodian at Blackstone Millville Regional High School until he retired. 

He was a member of the Whitinsville Fish and Game Club, a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, and the ADVID NRA. 

He enjoyed farming, fishing, and cooking for others. He was a very caring person and was eager to help the students at Blackstone Millville Regional. He was a very dedicated employee to BMR.  

Besides his father Wilfred Sr. he is survived by one sister, Julie Bacon and her partner Lisa of Iowa. Four brothers, Ronald Perron and his wife Carol of Millville, Marc Bacon and his wife Debra of Cumberland, Paul Bacon and his wife Nancy of Woonsocket, and Luke Bacon and his wife Alicia of Blackstone, MA. His long term caregiver Amie Archambault and her daughter Ariana of Woonsocket. Close friend, Linda Archambault of Woonsocket. And several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. 

He was also the step son of the late Mae Goulet. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 12 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to National Kidney Foundation 85 Astor Ave Unit 2 Norwood, MA 02062 in Willy’s name would be appreciated.
