Woonsocket — Wilfredo Nunez Sr. 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Landmark Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
Born in Maricao, Puerto Rico, son of the late Carmen Martinez.
He was a Jack of all trades and recently worked as an Urber Driver until retiring.
He was an active member of IMJY Church.
Wilfredo enjoyed being with family and friends, sharing his love with everyone, riding his motorcycle, playing pool, and singing worship songs. He was also a Ladies man.
He is survived by his six children, Wilfredo Nunez Jr. and his wife Janette of Cumberland, RI. Elliot Nunez and his wife Tamara Santos Nunez of North Smithfield, RI., Yamilette Nunez, Christian Nunez, Chrismel Nunez, and Yoniel Nunez all of Woonsocket. Nine grandchildren, Elliot Jr., Amanda, Stephanie, Daisha, Wilfredo III, Eddie, Emmanuel, Viviana, and Wilberto. Five great grandchildren, Serenity, Jayden, Carter, Anastasia, and Elliot III.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 6 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-6 PM. Burial will be private.
