William A. Salome

Blackstone - William “Billy” A. Salome, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Linda (Gentile) Salome of Blackstone, MA. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Charles and Barbara (Flynn) Salome. 

Bill was an Engineer for Northrop Gruman and Bose Corporation for several years. He was a member of the Italian Workingmen’s Club and the Crystal lake Golf Club. He was also a member of the band, Wildfire. He enjoyed golfing, coaching his children’s sports teams, eating, singing, and spending time with his family. He was also an avid sports fan. 

Besides his wife Linda, he is survived by his two children, Patrick Salome and his wife Kristin of Florida and Katie Salome and Dana Lovejoy of Bellingham, MA. Four sisters, Jane Pouliot of Blackstone, Barbara Salome of CT, Debbie Kelley of VT, Tina Maloney of ME, and Melanie Salome of TX. Two brothers, Charles Salome of Uxbrige, MA and Timothy Salome of NY. One grandson, Cade. 

He was also the brother of the late Jeffrey Salome. 

His Funeral will be held on on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10 AM in St. Anthony Parish 128 Greene St Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery 102 Farm St Blackstone, MA 01504. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectively omitted. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
