East Providence - Wyman L. Cook 74 passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Mona (Benoit) Cook of East Providence. They were happily married for 51 years.
Born in Milford, MA son of he late Wyman Cook and the late Lillian (St. Louis) Lachapelle.
He was a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam era. Mr. Cook worked as a Sales Representative for World Publication in East Bridge Water, MA prior to retiring. He was a member of AMVET Post 12, he was part of a singing trio at his church, singing for weddings, he enjoyed bowling, loved dogs especially his canine companions, Trevor and Sophie. He also loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his wife Mona he is survived by son, Todd Cook and his wife Kelly of N. Smithfield. Two brothers, David Cook of Woonsocket and Richard Cook of Warwick. Three sisters, Michelle Cote of MA, Kimberley Babilon of SC, and Kathy Sylvestre of N. Smithfield. Two grandchildren, Tyler and Aidan.
He was also the father of the late Glenn Cook and brother of the late Darryl Cook.
A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, July 15, 2022 in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI. Relatives and Friends are invited.
