Yvonne V. Shea

Woonsocket— Yvonne V. (Duquette) Shea, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in the Friendly Home with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Charles Shea. 

Born in Brockton, MA,. daughter of the late Wilfred and Vivian (George) Duquette.

Yvonne worked as a Supervisor at CVS for 20 years and then became a full time Homemaker. 

She loved her family, spending time with friends, making crafts, photo albums, crocheting, knitting, and enjoying music. Yvonne was very strong in her faith.

She is survived by her four sons, Karl Hanson of Woonsocket, Neil Hanson of Woonsocket, Keith Hanson of Woonsocket, and Chad Hanson and his wife Lizotte of So. Carolina. Two daughters, Sherri Huxstable and her husband Robert of Lincoln and Linda Shea of Providence. Eleven grandchildren, Corey, Desiree, Jeffrey, Sarah, Neil, Storm, Brayden, Carlise, Danaysia, Ashantee, and Henrik. Three great grandchildren, Roman, Julian, and Mesiah. One brother, Francis Duquette. And one sister, Sharon Van Auken.

She also was the sister to the late Betty Huxley, Jerry Duquette, Mark Duquette, Beverly Shenett, Wilfred Duquette, Richard Duquette, Judy Duquette and Sharon Van.

Her Services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
